 | Media: > Video > Soundtracks Aldershot Military Museum have completely refurbished their main gallery, Motivation's brief was to reinterpret the history of the Army at Aldershot. This was achieved with a combination of traditional tableau together with sound effects, audio commentaries and a video to give the visitor the experience of driving an armoured fighting vehicle.

 | Media: > Multimedia The Army Medical Services Museum, based at Keogh Barracks, Aldershot, has re-opened its doors after a complete internal refit and redesign. Motivation has created a multimedia touchscreen to tell the stories of those in the Medical Services who have won the Victoria Cross together with their citations, campaign information and a quiz.

 | Media: > Video > Soundtracks > Multimedia The Assize Courts in Bodmin now houses a theatrical recreation of a famous Cornish 19th Century murder trial using sound, lighting, wide-screen video and a voting system all produced by Motivation. We also created a multimedia crime and punishment touch-screen and sound effects in dungeon like holding cells.

 | Media: > Video Dimbola Lodge is a small museum in Freshwater on the Isle of Wight, devoted entirely to the life and work of the pioneering Victorian photographer, Julia Margaret Cameron. Motivation produced video sequences that cover four main topics: her life; her work; the history of photography; and the history of the house itself.

 | Media: > Experience Production Motivation recently wrote and produced an exciting audio visual mixed-media tour, to update the Fleet Air Arm Museum’s 'Carrier Experience' in Somerset. The concept was to bring the ship alive by involving visitors in a 'flying program' including a simulated helicopter ride and large screen projections of high definition 3D animation.

 | Media: > Video > Soundtracks > 3D Animation The Gladstone Pottery Museum in Stoke-on-Trent decided to have some fun in tackling the tricky subject of sewerage. The history of sanitation is covered by the reconstruction of nineteenth century backyards, complete with smells and sound effects, and a visit to a sewer tunnel where a 3D animated rat acts as the tour guide, all created by Motivation.

 | Media: > Soundtracks HMS Trincomalee is a 19th Century frigate now lying at rest in Hartlepool. Motivation was commissioned to produce a series of sound-effects to create the atmosphere of "below decks" while at sea, including a conversation piece between two drunken sailors in the hold - a part of the vessel which was out-of-bounds to them.

 | Media: > Video > Soundtracks Milestones houses a generic Hampshire town set in two time periods - the late 19th Century and the inter war years in the 20th Century. Motivation produced soundtracks, effects and mannequins to illustrate the change in lifestyles. A video focuses on an important local firm, Thornycrofts, where the founder tells their story using real artefacts and archive footage and stills.

 | Media: > 3D Animation > Video Papplewick Pumping Station, near Nottingham, is one of the finest examples of Victorian industrial heritage in the country. Motivation was commissioned to re-create the beam engine in 3D computer graphic form and to produce animated sequences togther with live footage to explain how the mechanism works.

 | Media: > Multimedia The museum was once the home of Merton & Annie Russell-Cotes, Victorian travellers and socialites who bequeathed their house to the people of Bournemouth. Motivation produced a multimedia touchscreen interactive based around Annie's travelogue diaries and including a quiz and information about artefacts in the museum.

 | Media: > Websites The museum has strong links with schools in the Dorset area. To develop this relationship we have created a website to enable Primary schools to take part in activities linked to the National Curriculum and based around East Cliff Hall, which houses the Museum and Art Galleries. The activities are designed to be used before, during and after a visit to the Hall.

 | Media: > Video > Soundtracks > Multimedia The Whisby Natural World Visitor Centre in Lincolnshire, contains an exhibition designed to inform visitors about the environment, the impact of recycling, global warming and the degeneration of natural habitats. Motivation answered the brief by producing multimedia touchscreens, video imagery and atmospheric sound effects synchronised to lighting.

 | Media: > Video On the top of the White Cliffs of Dover the National Trust opened a visitor centre to convey information about the ecology of the area. Motivation produced videos showing the flora and fauna compiled from carefully researched library footage and stills shot under a video rostrum camera, all accompanied by captioning to deliver salient details to the viewer.
